A Florida native, Jason joined the Gulf Coast News weather team in 2011. He earned his degree in Meteorology from Mississippi State University and completed his master's in 2009. Before returning to Florida, Jason served as the morning and noon meteorologist in Columbus, Mississippi, where he covered the historic tornado outbreak of April 27, 2011.
